Feast of Fields, BC's longest-running farm-to-table festival, returns to the Naramata Bench on August 17th with its largest lineup yet — 45 participating farms, 20 chefs, and a new cider-tasting pavilion featuring producers from across the Similkameen Valley.

Now in its 27th year, the event draws around 1,500 guests to a working vineyard for an afternoon of roaming tastings, live music, and conversations between the farmers and the chefs who use their ingredients year-round.

This year's culinary roster includes Ned Bell of Naramata's acclaimed Terrafina restaurant, Andrey Durbach of Vancouver's Pied-à-Terre, and a first-time appearance from Kelowna chef Andrea Carlson, whose restaurant Burdock & Co. was recently named one of Canada's top 100.

"This is the only event I know where you can talk to the person who grew the carrot, the person who cooked it, and the person who raised the lamb it's resting on — all in the same thirty-minute conversation," said festival co-founder Mark Tomaszewski.

Tickets go on sale April 15th at feastoffields.com. General admission is $195 and typically sells out within 48 hours. A limited number of farmhand tickets at $95 are available to agricultural workers and students.
